Concho Farmer's Market
Guidelines for Vendors:
These guidelines are for the five approved vendor types: Farmer, Vendor of Processed and Packaged Foods, Food Vendor, Crafter, and Youth/Youth Group Vendor.
Farmer
Vendor which produces or grows agricultural products themselves.
Farmers May Sell:
- Raw Agricultural Products: products which are grown or produced on the farm by the vendor. Includes products such as: vegetables, fruit, nuts, berries, fresh cut flowers, eggs, and honey.
- Nursery Products: plant products which are propagated and grown by the vendor. Includes products such as: potted plants, bedding plants, annuals and perennials, and seeds.
- Processed Non-food Agricultural Products: products which are produced from agricultural products which are grown or produced by the vendor. Includes such products as beeswax candles, milk soap, wool and natural fibers, pelts, dried flowers, herbal preparations.
- Processed Farm Foods: food products processed by the farmer which are made from raw agricultural products produced by him or her. These products have been cooked, canned, baked, dried or preserved and must contain a majority of products grown or produced by the vendor. Includes such products as: dried vegetables, dried fruit, jerky, dairy products and cheese, jams, jellies, preserves, pickles, relishes, oils, vinegars, meat and poultry.
Vendor of Processed and Packaged Foods
Vendor sells processed food products that the vendor has cooked, canned, baked, dried or preserved. Baked goods and canned items not made from products grown or produced by the vendor are acceptable. Preference will be given to vendors who use products from participating farms and who highlight regional produce and seasonal ingredients.
Food Vendor
All foods must be freshly prepared from ingredients by the vendor. Food vendors must not be part of a franchise. Details must be provided for any items not made by the vendor and may be approved on a case-by-case basis (for example: soft drinks, condiments, etc.) A limited number of food vendors will be allowed.

Crafter
Vendor who craft with their own hands the products they offer for sale. Only handmade items are acceptable. No products produced from kits are allowable. A limited number of crafters will be allowed.
