Now that we have finally gotten some of that monsoon rain it has cooled off and I once again welcome summer! Although the thunderstorm we had several days ago with hail did some damage to the garden, mostly small holes in just about every leaf, the plants are still flourishing and always seem to perk up when we have an electrical storm.

Come on out and join us at the market today and shop for Filet and Italian Flat Pole beans, also green and wax beans, plus cucumbers, serranos, baby eggplants, leeks, fennel, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, summer squash, red cabbage, carrots, radishes, Rose Gold potatoes, rainbow Swiss Chard, shallots and garlic. Fresh cut herbs include Mammoth and Genovese Basil, lemon and purple basil, rosemary, summer savory, chives and garlic chives.

You�ll also find farm fresh eggs, potted plants and flowers, delicious homemade jams and relishes. Wooden items, jewelry, pretty aprons, handmade soaps and lotions are just some of our crafts. The Red Turtle Caf� will have breakfast and lunch items including pizza, plus bread and pastries to take home.

We are now selling raffle tickets for $5.00, available at the Market Manager�s table, a drawing will be held once a month with the winner receiving an item from each vendor, and the June winner was Barbara Baum!

Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., on the corner of Highway 61 and 180A in Concho, be sure to come early for the best selections!

Plan on joining us next Saturday for our very popular Garlic Festival! There will be plenty of fresh and flavorful locally grown garlic!
